Gertrude, Washington

Gertrude is an unincorporated community in Pierce County, in the U.S. state of Washington.[1]

History

A post office called Gertrude was established in 1900, and remained in operation until 1936.[2] The community takes its name from nearby Gertrude Island.[3]
