The Gambian Air Force operates a single Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot attack jet.[3]
History
The Gambian Air Force was formed in 2003. The first attempt to create an air force was in 1999 when a DC-10 with 2 Bell AH-1 HueyCobra's wear detained by the US Police because it was on illegally on rout to Gambia. The Gambian Army operates one Su-25 as of 2008.[4][5]
