Fred Thomas (born June 27, 1958) is the Majority Leader of the Montana Senate.
Biography
Thomas was born on June 27, 1958 in Hamilton, Montana.[1] His grandfather, Fred A. Thomas, was a member of the Montana House of Representatives. In 2009, Thomas became Vice President of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents.[2]
Political career
Thomas was a member of the House of Representatives from 1985 to 1992. He became a member of the Senate in 1997, later becoming Majority Leader.
