Foy-Notre-Dame is a commune in Dinant, Wallonia region of Belgium. The story of Foy-Notre-Dame begins in 1609 with the discovery of a statue of the Virgin Mary in an oak that carpenter Gilles de Wanlin shot. This extraordinary discovery leads to a great Marian devotion, supported by some miracles that occur.[1]
