The Fiat Fullback is a pickup truck from the Italian automobile manufacturer Fiat. The vehicle is practically identical to the fifth generation of the Mitsubishi L200, from which the engines also originate.
Since the sales start in June 2016, the Fullback is available in an extensive Launch Edition. The result of a collaboration agreement between the Italian manufacturer Fiat and the Japanese Mitsubishi, signed in 2014. It is assembled since 2016 in Laem Chabang by Mitsubishi Motors Thailand.[1] It's marketed for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA], and was premiered at the Dubai International Motor Show on November 10th, 2015. The Fullback is only sold in the EMEA markets (and Chile) as in the Fiat South American market already produces a range of pick-ups, which are not exported elsewhere, like the Fiat Toro (similar in size to Fullback but based on the monocoque chassis of the Jeep Renegade (BU) with more car setup). Being a rebadged Mitsubishi L200, the changes affect only the front grille and some interior finishing specifications for the model, as well as customisations by Mopar.
The Fullback for the European market are marketed in rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive with a aluminum 2.4-liter DI-D Mitsubishi diesel engine, available in two power variants from 150 to 180 PS (110 to 132 kW; 148 to 178 hp).
On the Middle East and Africa markets the model will be marketed in the 4x2 version with a 2.4-liter gasoline engine with 16 valves always Mitsubishi with 132 PS (97 kW; 130 hp) and a 2.5 liter diesel in two power versions of 110 and 178 PS (81 and 131 kW; 108 and 176 hp).
Like most of its competitors, the Fullback offers a complete range of four configurations: "Single Cab", "Extended Cab", "Double Cab" and "Frame"), and three trim levels. All versions have the same height (1780 mm), width (1815 mm) and wheelbase (3000 mm); the length varies depending on the configuration: 5155 mm for the version "Single Cab", 5275 mm for a cabin "extended version" and 5285 mm for pick-up to "double cab".
