History

DYTO was started its broadcast on December 18, 1995 as 102.7 Showbiz Tsismis in Cebu City in the Region 7 Central Visayas. Its simulcast live via satellite from the Manila-based flagship station is the first showbiz-oriented FM station in the Philippines.

On May 1, 2000, it was rebranded as 102.7 YES! FM and changed its callsign to DYES. At that time, the studios were located at the Cinco Centrum Bldg., Fuente Osmeña, Cebu City, along with their sister stations DYXR Aksyon Radyo, 97.9 Love Radio and 91.5 Hot FM. YES! FM Cebu went to full automation without any DJ's that playing all-Hot AC and OPM hits.

In 2006, both 102.7 YES! FM, 97.9 Love Radio & 91.5 Hot FM moved to its new studio located at the Eggling Subdivision, Busay Hills, Cebu City and its sister AM station DYXR Aksyon Radyo had also moved to the studio at the Brgy. Tangke, Talisay City. Since then, YES! FM Cebu has been played Pop music every Mondays to Saturdays (similar to its sister station, 97.9 Love Radio) and oldies every Sundays. However, it went off-the-air sometime in late 2008.

On July 1, 2009, the station was reformatted as 102.7 Easy Rock along with the callsign as DYTC. Its format with a soft rock and adult contemporary music with lesser talk, less commercials and more music. And unlike other Easy Rock stations, they have no/less talk, more music and less commercials. On February 24, 2014, as part of rebranding that saw all MBC-owned Hot FM stations, DYHR was rebranded as 91.5 Yes FM (now 91.5 Yes The Best).

On December 2015, as Love Radio studios had finally moved to a new site at Doña Luisa Bldg. in Fuente Osmeña, 102.7 Easy Rock & 91.5 Yes FM studios were remained in Eggling Subdivision.
