Bharat Mohan Adhikari (Nepali: भरतमोहन अधिकारी) is a Nepalese Deputy Prime Minister who was at the Medanta Medicity Hospital in New Delhi on December 8 for valvular heart disease, but was not treated for the same.[1][2] He was the first communist Finance Minister who championed "आफ्नो गाउं आफै बनाउ" (Make your own village). He introduced Old Age Allowance for Nepalese senior citizens in the 1994-95 government of Man Mohan Adhikari.[3]
Although from UML, he is considered to have held Moderate and Liberal views.
