The Baloch Republican Party (Urdu: بلوچ ریپبلکن پارٹی) is an organization in Balochistan headed by Brahumdagh Khan Bugti. The organization has Marxist roots and wants to separate Balochistan from Pakistan. Balochistan is the largest Province of Pakistan by land area. [1]
Creation of BRP
BRP is an organisation that was formed in 2008 by Balochistanis who fled from Balochistan due to threat of Pakistani army. President of BRP is Brahumdagh Bugti, the objective of BRP is to stop increasing Pakistani central government control and monopolization of Balochi resources. The organisation tried to negotiate with Pakistani Government but were unable to come to terms, so the organisation now wants a full separation from Pakistan.
