Singles
"Cecilia and the Satellite" was released digitally as the lead single from Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness on July 18, 2014 via McMahon's Soundcloud and on August 12, 2014 was officially released on iTunes and Spotify.[2][3] On September 2, 2014, McMahon released another track from the album called "High Dive",[4] followed by "Canyon Moon"[5] and "See Her On the Weekend",[6] which coincided with the album's preorder leading up to the album's release.
Critical reception
At Metacritic, which assigns a weighted mean rating out of 100, the album received an average score of 78, based on 4 reviews, which indicates "generally favorable reviews".[7]
