Brian Lee (songwriter)
Brian Dong Ho Lee (c. 1981)[1], professionally known as Brian Lee, is a Korean American songwriter, best known as a co-writer of "Good Time" by Owl City & Carly Rae Jepsen and "Work from Home" by Fifth Harmony, among other songs.[2][3] He contributed to Lady Gaga's 2011 Born This Way album, providing back-up vocals on "Government Hooker".[2]
Lee was trained as a classical violinist from the age of 3.[2][3] He got his start in pop music with the Chicago area band he co-founded, Made in Hollywood, with fellow Chicagoan and former Winepress Guitarist, Raymond J DeYoung; as well as former Inept bassist, Mike Felton. Following the dissolution of Made in Hollywood, Brian joined the band The White Tie Affair for a short period of time.
In 2013, he wrote and produced Icona Pop's dance club anthem "All Night" as well as Ingrid Michelson's, "The Afterlife."
Lee reached Number 1 in Japan with B2st's single "Can't Wait to Love You".
Since 2015, Lee frequently works together with songwriters watt and Ali Tamposi.[4]
