Controversies
Drunk Driving
On May 18, 2017, Pang had been drinking at a wedding banquet before his accident, for which he was charged with drink driving.
According to the charge, Pang had been driving under the influence of alcohol on Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim, towards Jurong Port Road, on May 8, 2017, at around 4.42am, reports Lianhe Wanbao via Lianhe Zaobao.
It was revealed that while he was driving on Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim, he had lost control of his vehicle and struck the kerb. Another car was also involved in the accident. The police were alerted and upon investigation, discovered that Pang had been driving while intoxicated. A breath test showed that Pang had 55 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
While Pang had chosen to remain silent over the why he had been driving while he was drunk, an insider told Lianhe Wanbao that Pang had attended a wedding banquet prior to the accident, where he allegedly drank some beer with friends before leaving on the early morning of the incident.
Pang has remained silent on the matter. Aloysius was arrested and charged with drink driving.[3] He was fined $2,000 and banned from driving for 18 months.[4]
