Al-Yaqoubi Mosque

Al-Yaqoubi Mosque. Inscription in Arabic at the side of the entrance: الله ; "Allah".

Al-Yaqoubi Mosque is a mosque located on Maronite Convent street 4 in the middle of the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem in Israel. It was constructed in 1187 on the ruins of the demolished Church of Saint James Intercisus.

It has the Anglican church to one side, the Franciscans to another one, and the Maronite Patriarchate to yet another one.
