Central Districts Hinds

The Central Districts Hinds are the senior women's cricket team of the Central Districts Cricket Association, based in central New Zealand. The team competes in the Hallyburton Johnstone Shield one-day competition and the Burger King Super Smash Twenty20 competition. It comprises eight individual district associations, in Hawke's Bay, Horowhenua-Kapiti, Manawatu, Marlborough, Nelson, Taranaki, Wairarapa and Wanganui. Thus, the region known for cricketing purposes as the Central Districts consists of three regions in the North Island, part of the Wellington Region, and two regions in the South Island.[1]

They were runners up in the 2006 State Shield
