.google is a brand top-level domain (TLD) used in the Domain Name System of the Internet. Created in 2014, it is operated by Alphabet Inc.[1] It was the first registered Brand gTLD to be associated with a publicly accessible website. Plans have been made to move other Alphabet Inc. products to .google and several of their other registered domains.[2]

Google Domains, a domain registration service offered by Google,[3] is hosted at domains.google.[4]

Google owns and runs a number domains that are using the .google domain extension. These include:

  • com.google, which redirects to the Google homepage for the country you are in. (Not currently activated.)
  • domains.google, which allows domain registration.
  • blog.google, a blog that posts news about Google products.
  • registry.google, A informational site about Google's registered domains.
  • nic.google which redirects to Google registry.
  • ai.google, a website showcasing the usages of Google's Artificial Intelligence
  • design.google information and news about Google Design
  • environment.google A site promoting sustainable growth and the environment.
  • pride.google A site promoting awareness about Pride parades across America.
  • crisisresponse.google A site building awareness about how Google can help in a crisis.
  • grow.google A site with tools from Google to grow small businesses and startups.
  • safety.google A site dedicated to educating and empowering people on topics like data security, privacy controls and online protections.
