     Section 3 The courts of appeal are the Court of Appeal [in Bangkok] and the Regional Courts of Appeal.

• In 2015, the term ศาลชั้นอุทธรณ์ (sǎan-chán-ùt-tɔɔn) was coined to replace the present term in this meaning so as to get rid of ambiguity in law. Thus, the use of the present term in this meaning is now discouraged.
