  1. to saddle (to attach a saddle to an animal, usually a horse)
    seglot zirguto saddle a horse
    mans zirgs ir jau seglots, es dodos ceļāmy horse is already saddled, I am going on my way (= departing)
    dēli, dēli, kur bijāt? seglojiet kumeliņus!sons, sons, where are you? saddle the colts!
