Finale UEFA Cup 1972

De UEFA Cupfinale van het seizoen 1971/72 is de eerste finale in de geschiedenis van de UEFA Cup. Meteen stonden er ook twee teams van hetzelfde land tegenover elkaar. De Engelse clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers en Tottenham Hotspur waren finalisten. De eerste wedstrijd vond plaats op 3 mei 1972 in het Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton. De terugwedstrijd vond plaats op 17 mei op White Hart Lane in Londen.

Tottenham won de finale onder meer door een laat doelpunt in de heenwedstrijd. Martin Chivers scoorde met nog enkele minuten te gaan van op zo'n 25m afstand. In beide finales stonden er enkel spelers uit het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Ierland op het veld. De Nederlandse scheidsrechter Lau van Ravens floot de terugwedstrijd.
