Apostolepis
Apostolepis is een geslacht van slangen uit de familie Dipsadidae.[1] Het geslacht werd lange tijd tot de familie gladde slangen (Colubridae) gerekend. De groep werd voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Edward Drinker Cope in 1861.

Er zijn dertig verschillende soorten, inclusief de pas in 2011 wetenschappelijk beschreven soort Apostolepis parassimilis. Alle soorten komen voor in delen van Zuid-Amerika. Veel soorten hebben een helderrode lichaamskleur.
