De race werd gewonnen door de Toyota #8 van Sébastien Buemi, Fernando Alonso en Kazuki Nakajima, die allemaal hun tweede Le Mans-zege behaalden. De LMP2-klasse werd gewonnen door de Signatech Alpine Matmut #36 van Nicolas Lapierre, André Negrão en Pierre Thiriet. De LMGTE Pro-klasse werd gewonnen door de #51 AF Corse van James Calado, Alessandro Pier Guidi en Daniel Serra. De LMGTE Am-klasse werd oorspronkelijk gewonnen door de #85 Keating Motorsports van Ben Keating, Jeroen Bleekemolen en Felipe Fraga, maar het team werd gediskwalificeerd omdat de tank van hun auto te groot was. In plaats hiervan won de Team Project 1 #56 van Jörg Bergmeister, Patrick Lindsey en Egidio Perfetti.

- De #99 Dempsey-Proton Racing ging niet van start vanwege een blessure bij coureur Tracy Krohn, die hij opliep tijdens een crash in de trainingssessie.
