Tonekabon County

Tonekabon County (Persian: شهرستان تنکابن) is a county in Mazandaran Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Tonekabon. At the 2006 census, the county's population (including those portions later split off to form Abbasabad County) was 193,428, in 55,318 families; excluding those portions, the population (as of 2006) was 147,839, in 42,624.[1] The county is subdivided into three districts: the Central District, Nashta District, and Khorramabad District. The county has four cities: Tonekabon, Nashtarud, Khorramabad & Shirud.
