Abbas Abad Historical Complex

Abbas Abad Historical Complex (Persian: مجموعه تاریخی عباس‌آباد), originally the Abbas Abad Garden (Persian: عباس‌آباد - Bāq-i Abbas Abad), is a garden complex in Behshahr, Iran.[1] This complex is registered as one of the Persian gardens in the World Heritage Site.[2][3]

In the affluent Abbas Abad district of Behshahr of Mazandaran, This collection was commissioned by Abbas the Great was constructed in 1613 at area called Kharguran. It is the most non-desert garden in Iran at the moment and its area is about 500 hectares.[4] The complex includes Abbasabad Dam, Reservoir and Dam Lake, Gol Bagh, Palace, Bath, Blue Mill and two brick towers and a Persian garden, all open to the public.[5][6][7]
