Timpany School

Timpany School is a Christian mission school in the city of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was founded in the year 1931, in the Indian pre-independence era by Dr. Rev. A.W. Timpany of the Canadian Baptist Mission to serve the cause of education and for the glory of god.[1][2] It is managed by the Evangelical Trust Association of South India (ETASI) and the Chairman of ETASI Dr. Ken Gnanakan, is also the current Chairman of Timpany Schools.[3] The medium of instruction for the school is English . They are run on Christian principles and offer students,irrespective of their community and creed, a complete education of body, mind and spirit.[1]

Pre-school teacher training

The students are divided into houses Jupiter, Mercury, Neptune and Venus. Competitive spirit is displayed amongst students through inter-house competitions.
