Commercial performance

"Take What You Want" became Malone's ninth top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, debuting at number eight and becoming Osbourne's first Billboard Hot 100 top 10 in over 30 years, making it the longest gap between top 10 appearances.[4] The song is also the first song to chart on the mainstream rock charts and hit the top 10 of the Hot 100 since Shinedown's "Second Chance" in 2009.

Composition

"Take What You Want" blends the modern trap and hip hop sound with guitar-based rock. Featuring chords reminiscent of Black Sabbath, the track featured many of the trademark musical styles of Malone, Osbourne, and Scott.
