Rajanna Sircilla

Rajanna Sircilla is a district in the Indian state of Telangana.[2] It was a part of the Karimnagar district prior to the re-organisation of districts in the state. Sircilla is the district headquarters.[3] It was formed on 11 October 2016.

The district is spread over an area of 2,030.89 square kilometres (784.13 sq mi).[4]

Demographics

As of 2011 Census of India, the district has a population of 546,121.[4] This district has a literacy rate 62.71%.

Administrative divisions

The district will have two revenue division of Sircilla and Vemulawada It is sub-divided into 13 mandals.[5] D.Krishna Bhaskar is the present collector of the district.[6]
