Psalm 59

Psalm 59 is the 59th psalm of the Book of Psalms. In the Greek Septuagint version of the bible, and in its Latin translation in the Vulgate, this psalm is Psalm 58 in a slightly different numbering system.

This article uses the Hebrew (Masoretic) Psalms numbering. Psalm 59 in Septuagint/Vulgate numbering would correspond to Psalm 60 in Hebrew numbering.

Verse 18 is found in the repetition of the Amidah during Rosh Hashanah.[1]

Psalm 59 is one of the ten Psalms of the Tikkun HaKlali of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov.[2][3]
