Matthew Bruce Allan (born April 17, 2001) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.

Allan attended Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida. During his senior year, he threw a perfect game in which he struck out 17 batters.[1] He was named the 2019 Florida High School Player of the Year by Perfect Game.[2] Allan committed to play college baseball at the University of Florida.[3][4]

Allan was drafted by the New York Mets in the third round with the 89th overall selection in the 2019 MLB draft.[5] He was considered a top prospect for the draft, but fell due to his strong commitment to Florida.[6][7] He signed for $2.5 million, the richest contract for a third-round draft pick ever.[8][9][10] He made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast League Mets before being promoted to the Brooklyn Cyclones. Over ​10 ¹⁄₃ innings between both teams, he went 1-0 with a 2.61 ERA and 14 strikeouts.[11]

Michael Anthony Dibrell (born November 8, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.

Dibrell attended Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek, Georgia, where he played four years of varsity baseball.[12] Undrafted out of high school in the 2014 Major League Baseball draft, he enrolled at Kennesaw State University where he played college baseball.

In 2015, his freshman year at Kennesaw State, Dibrell pitched 16 innings, compiling a 5.06 ERA. After the season, he played in the New England Collegiate Baseball League for the Ocean State Waves.[13] As a sophomore at Kennesaw State in 2016, he made 14 appearances (seven starts) in which he went 1-4 with a 4.64 ERA, striking out 66 batters over 54 innings.[14][15] That summer, he played in the Cape Cod Baseball League with both the Chatham Anglers and Bourne Braves, earning All-Star honors.[16][17] In 2017, his junior year, he started 14 games and pitched to a 7-4 record with a 2.45 ERA and 103 strikeouts over ​95 ²⁄₃ innings.[18] After the season, he was drafted by the New York Mets in the fourth round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft.[19][20]

Dibrell signed with the Mets and made his professional debut with the Brooklyn Cyclones of the Class A Short Season New York–Penn League. Over ​19 ²⁄₃ innings, he struck out 28 batters while pitching to a 5.03 ERA. In 2018, he pitched with the Columbia Fireflies of the Class A South Atlantic League where he went 7-6 with a 3.50 ERA in 23 starts, striking out 147 batters over 131 innings. Dibrell began the 2019 season with the St. Lucie Mets of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League, with whom he was named a FSL All-Star.[21] After pitching to an 8-4 record with a 2.39 ERA over 17 games (16 starts), he was promoted to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies of the Class AA Eastern League in July, with whom he finished the year. Over nine games (eight starts) with Binghamton, Dibrell went 0-8 with a 9.31 ERA.[22]

Ryley Carswell Gilliam (born August 11, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.

Gilliam attended Kennesaw Mountain High School in Kennesaw, Georgia, and played college baseball at Clemson University.[23][24] In 2017, he played for the United States collegiate national team,[25] and also briefly played collegiate summer baseball with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[26]

Gilliam was drafted by the New York Mets in the fifth round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft.[27] He made his professional debut with the Brooklyn Cyclones, going 0-1 with a 2.08 ERA 17 relief appearances.[28] He started 2019 with the St. Lucie Mets and was promoted to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in April before being promoted to the Syracuse Mets in June. Over ​38 ²⁄₃ relief innings pitched between the three clubs, he compiled a 5-0 record with a 6.05 ERA, striking out 56 while walking 18. He was selected to play in the Arizona Fall League for the Scottsdale Scorpions following the 2019 season.[29]

Andrés Alfonso Giménez Osorio (born September 4, 1998) is a Venezuelan professional baseball shortstop in the New York Mets organization.

Giménez signed with the New York Mets as an international free agent in July 2015.[30][31] He made his professional debut in 2016 with the Dominican Summer League Mets and spent the whole season there, batting a combined .350 with three home runs, 38 RBIs, and a .992 OPS. In 2017, he played for the Columbia Fireflies where he slashed .265/.346/.349 with four home runs and 31 RBIs in 92 games.[32][33]

Giménez was rated as the best Mets prospect after the 2017 season by Baseball America.[34] He spent the 2018 season with both the St. Lucie Mets and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, batting .281/.347/.409 with six home runs, 46 RBIs, and 38 stolen bases in 122 total games between the two clubs.[35] That summer, he played in the 2018 All-Star Futures Game.[36] He returned to Binghamton for the 2019 season,[37] hitting .250/.309/.387 with nine home runs, 37 RBIs, and 28 stolen bases over 117 games.

Giménez was added to the Mets 40–man roster following the 2019 season.[38]

Jordan Humphreys (born June 11, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.

Humphreys attended Crystal River High School in Crystal River, Florida and was drafted by the New York Mets in the 18th round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft.[39][40] He made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Mets where he posted a 1.54 ERA in 11.2 innings.

Humphreys pitched 2016 with both the Kingsport Mets and Brooklyn Cyclones, pitching to a combined 3-6 record and 3.58 ERA in 13 games started between both teams. He started 2017 with the Columbia Fireflies[41][42] and was later promoted to the St. Lucie Mets. In 13 combined games started between the two teams, Humphreys posted a 10-1 record with a 1.79 ERA and a 0.87 WHIP.[43]

Humphreys underwent Tommy John surgery on August 29, 2017, thus ending his 2017 season.[44]

Humphreys was added to the Mets 40–man roster following the 2019 season.[45]

Franklyn Kilomé (born June 25, 1995) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.

Kilomé signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent in 2013.[46] He made his professional debut in 2014 with the Gulf Coast Phillies where he posted a 3.12 ERA in 40 innings pitched. He pitched in 2015 for the Williamsport Crosscutters[47][48] where he posted a 3–2 record with a 3.28 ERA in 11 starts. Kilomé spent 2016 with the Lakewood BlueClaws, pitching to a 5–8 record and 3.85 ERA. in 23 games started. Kilomé began 2017 with the Clearwater Threshers, and after posting a 6–4 record and a 2.59 ERA in 19 starts, was promoted to the Reading Fightin Phils where he finished the season, going 1–3 with a 3.64 ERA in five starts.[49] The Phillies added Kilomé to their 40-man roster after the 2017 season.[50] He began 2018 with Reading.

On July 27, 2018, Kilomé was traded to the New York Mets in exchange for Asdrúbal Cabrera.[51] He was assigned to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies and finished the season there. In 26 combined starts between Reading and Binghamton, he was 4-9 with a 4.18 ERA.[52] On October 25, 2018, it was announced that Kilomé would undergo Tommy John surgery and would miss the entire 2019 season.[53]

Desmond Alban Lindsay (born January 15, 1997) is an American baseball outfielder in the New York Mets organization.

Lindsay was drafted by the New York Mets in the second round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft out of Out-of-Door Academy in Sarasota, Florida.[54] He was committed to attend the University of North Carolina but the Mets signed him away from his commitment, giving him a signing bonus of $1,142,700.[55]

After signing, he was assigned to the Gulf Coast League Mets, and after he batted .304 with one home run and six RBIs in 21 games, he was promoted to the Brooklyn Cyclones, where he finished the season batting .200 in 14 games. He began 2016 in the GCL, and after batting .364 in his first five games, was promoted back to Brooklyn, where he batted .297 with four home runs, 17 RBIs and an .868 OPS in 32 games. Lindsay spent 2017 with the Columbia Fireflies where he posted a .220 batting average with eight home runs and 30 RBIs[56] before undergoing ulnar nerve transposition surgery in late July, thus ending his season after 65 games.[57]

Lindsay spent 2018 with the St. Lucie Mets, batting .218 with three home runs and thirty RBIs in 84 games.[58] He returned to St. Lucie in 2019,[59] but played in only 15 games due to injury.

Ronny Mauricio (born April 4, 2001) is a Dominican professional baseball shortstop in the New York Mets organization.

Mauricio signed with the New York Mets as an international free agent in July 2017.[60] He spent his first professional season in 2018 with the Gulf Coast Mets and Kingsport Mets,[61] slashing .273/.304/.410 with three home runs and 35 RBIs over 57 games.[62] He spent 2019 with the Columbia Fireflies[63] with whom he was named a South Atlantic League All-Star.[64] Over 116 games, he batted .268/.307/.357 with four home runs and 37 RBIs.

Ryder Michael Ryan (born May 11, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.

Ryan attended North Mecklenburg High School in Huntersville, North Carolina, where he played baseball for his father, Sean.[65] As a junior in 2013, he hit .597 with 29 RBIs along with pitching to a 0.28 ERA in 54.2 innings.[66] He committed to play college baseball at the University of North Carolina for the North Carolina Tar Heels the summer before his senior year.[67] As a senior, he batted .536 with six home runs and 28 RBIs while also pitching to a 7-1 record and a 0.57 ERA.[68] Although he was projected to be drafted as high as the third round in the 2014 MLB draft,[69] he was not drafted until the 40th round by the Cleveland Indians.[70] He did not sign and instead enrolled at North Carolina.

In his freshman and sophomore years at North Carolina, Ryder appeared in only 33 games as a hitter, and only one game as a pitcher.[71] After his sophomore year, he was drafted once again by the Indians, this time as a pitcher, in the 30th round of the 2016 MLB draft.[72] He chose to sign with Cleveland rather than return to school.[73] After signing, he made his professional debut with the AZL Indians where he was 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA in ​18 ²⁄₃ relief innings pitched. He began 2017 with the Lake County Captains, where he was named a Midwest League All-Star after compiling a 0.84 ERA in ​21 ¹⁄₃ innings pitched.[74]

On August 9, 2017, Ryan was traded to the New York Mets in exchange for Jay Bruce.[75] He finished the year with the Columbia Fireflies. In 41 relief appearances between Lake County and Columbia, he was 3-4 with a 4.14 ERA.[76] In 2018, he began the season with the St. Lucie Mets, where he was named a Florida State League All-Star after posting a 1-0 record, a 1.77 ERA, and a 0.93 WHIP over 16 relief appearances.[77] He was promoted to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in late May.[78] Over 42 relief appearances between St. Lucie and Binghamton, he went 4-3 with a 3.23 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP.[79]

Ryan returned to Binghamton in 2019,[80] going 3-1 with a 3.05 ERA over ​44 ¹⁄₃ innings, striking out forty.

Ali Miguel Sánchez (born January 20, 1997) is a Venezuelan professional baseball catcher in the New York Mets organization.

Sánchez signed with the New York Mets as an international free agent on July 2, 2013.[81] He spent the 2014 season with the DSL Mets, hitting .303/.406/.394/.800 with 3 home runs and 24 RBI. He split the 2015 season between the Gulf Coast Mets and the Kingsport Mets, hitting .272/.330/.306/.636 with 20 RBI. He spent the 2016 season between the Brooklyn Cyclones, hitting .216/.260/.275/.535 with 11 RBI. He spent the 2017 season with the Columbia Fireflies, hitting .231/.288/.264/.552 with 1 home run and 15 RBI. He split the 2018 season between Columbia and the St. Lucie Mets, combining to hit .265/.294/.387/.681 with 6 home runs and 38 RBI. Following the 2018 season, Sánchez played for the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League.[82] He split the 2019 season between the Binghamton Rumble Ponies and the Syracuse Mets, hitting a combined .261/.326/.322/.648 with 1 home run and 3 RBI.[83][84]

Kevin Patrick Smith (born May 13, 1997) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.

Smith attended Dunwoody High School in Dunwoody, Georgia, and played college baseball at the University of Georgia.[86] He was drafted by the New York Mets in the seventh round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft.[87]

Smith made his professional debut with the Brooklyn Cyclones, going 4-1 with a 0.76 ERA over ​23 ²⁄₃ innings. He started 2019 with the St. Lucie Mets before being promoted to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.[88] Over 23 starts between the two clubs, Smith went 8-7 with a 3.15 ERA, striking out 130 over 117 innings.

Thomas Mathew Szapucki (born June 12, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.

Szapucki attended William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He was drafted by the New York Mets in the fifth round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft.[89] He made his professional debut that season with the Gulf Coast Mets. He started 2016 with the Kingsport Mets and was promoted to the Brooklyn Cyclones during the season.[90][91] Szapucki finished 2016 with a combined 4-3 record and 1.38 ERA in 52 total innings pitched between two teams. He spent 2017 with the Columbia Fireflies, posting a 1-2 record, 2.79 ERA, and a 1.17 WHIP over 29 innings[92] before undergoing Tommy John surgery in July, thus ending his season.[93]

MLB.com ranked Szapucki as New York's fifth ranked prospect going into the 2018 season.[94] He missed all of 2018 due to Tommy John. He returned to play in 2019 with Columbia before being promoted to the St. Lucie Mets in July, and to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in August. Over 21 games (18 starts) between the three clubs, he went 1-3 with a 2.63 ERA, striking out 72 over ​61 ²⁄₃ innings.

Szapucki was added to the Mets 40–man roster following the 2019 season.[95]

Stephen Villines (born July 15, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.

Villines attended El Toro High School in Lake Forest, California and played college baseball at the University of Kansas. In 2015 and 2016, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[96][97] He was drafted by the New York Mets in the 10th round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft.[98]

Villines spent his first professional season with the Kingsport Mets and Brooklyn Cyclones, going 3-2 with a 1.95 ERA over 19 relief appearances. He pitched 2018 with the Columbia Fireflies, St. Lucie Mets and Binghamton Rumble Ponies,[99] pitching to a 5-4 record and 3.11 ERA, striking out 96 batters over ​66 ²⁄₃ innings. He started 2019 with Binghamton before being promoted to the Syracuse Chiefs.[100] Over 41 relief appearances with the two teams, Villines went 2-1 with a 2.66 ERA, striking out 54 over 61 innings.
