List of most expensive Romanian football transfers

The following is a list of most expensive association football transfers in Romania, which details the highest transfer fees ever paid for players in the Liga I.

The current record has been held since 2017 by Nicolae Stanciu, after Belgian club Anderlecht paid €2 million in bonuses to FC Steaua București in addition to the original €7.8 million transfer fee in August 2016.[1]
