The village population is about 2000. Most of the families depended on Agriculture. Sugarcane, soybean, cotton, maize are the major crops grown here and most of the family grows vegetables.
The unique of this village is for every 7-8 families you will find one person is in Indian army. Most of the youth have done master's degree in Social work and working in different parts of the country. Kuraniwadi is also noun for its unique temples, Allam Prabhu, is being worshiped by the people and followed by Shri Mallikarjun, Laxmi Devi, Basavanna etc. Kuraniwadi is also famous for Bajana.
