Kurli is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Chikodi taluk of Belgaum district in Karnataka.

Kurli is a small village located in Nipani taluka of Belgaum district, Karnataka with total 1310 families residing. The Kurli village has population of 6069 of which 3065 are males while 3004 are females as per Population Census 2011.

In Kurli village population of children with age 0-6 is 686 which makes up 11.30% of total population of village. Average Sex Ratio of Kurli village is 980 which is higher than Karnataka state average of 973. Child Sex Ratio for the Kurli as per census is 786, lower than Karnataka average of 948.

It is situated in the district of Belgaum,Karnataka. It is 14 km away from city Nippani and 86 km from Belgaum and 30 km from Kolhapur in Maharashtra. The village receives abundant water from Vedganga river. Village is very much active and practical in sense of social and human relationship. It is self-controlled and self-reliant in many cases. There are sufficient green field all around it for growing more than sufficient granary for whole population of village. Actually village granary production have exporting talent that means it produce excess to sell it for others.

Village has very good academic record. There are three schools, One is Marathi medium up to 10th standard, Kannda and English medium up to 7th standard. Also a small library is in the village. Other than primary school, village has facility of high school from 8th To 10th standard and this is being operated by Rayat Shikshan Sansta of Satara (Maharashtra)which was started by Karmveer Bhaurao Patil, great social worker and famous personality after independence for education to poor families.

Per capita income of village is very good. The village has various income through its people. Many of this village people are engineers, doctors and soldiers. The village also has many teachers and lawyers. So the income is from agriculture as well as from service men and businessmen also. There is very much peace and brotherhood among all the communities of village. The people remains always united for the benefit and growth of the village. Village is a place of god Halsidhanath. Village celebrate ustav of Halsidhanath on Ashwini pournima every year for 5 days at Appachiwadi (nearby village) after palkhi of god is taken there. Thousands of people from north Karnataka and south Maharashtra attends this festival every year.
