Belagali

Belagali is a panchayat village[1][2] in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[3][4] It is located in the Mudhol taluka of Bagalkot district in Karnataka, about 4 km east of the town of Mahalingpur.

There are two villages in the Belagali Gram Panchayat: Belagali and Mahalingapur (Rural).[2]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Belagali had a population of 15,041, with 7,582 males and 7,459 females.[3]

In the 2011 census, the population of Belagali was reported as 17,175.[5]
