English cricket team in Sri Lanka in 2019–20

The England cricket team were scheduled to tour Sri Lanka in March 2020 to play two Test matches. The Test series was scheduled to form part of the inaugural 2019–21 ICC World Test Championship.[1][2] The schedule for the tour was confirmed in October 2019.[3][4] In January 2020 Sri Lanka Cricket changed the venue of the second Test from the R. Premadasa Stadium to the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground, due to renovation work that was being done.[5]
