2020 ACA Africa T20 Cup Finals

The 2020 ACA Africa T20 Cup Finals is a forthcoming cricket tournament due to be held in Nairobi, Kenya.[1][2] The tournament was originally scheduled to be held in September 2019, but was eventually moved to March 2020.[3] On 9 March 2020, the tournament was postponed again due to the coronavirus pandemic, in line with the Kenyan government's 30-day ban on international gatherings.[4][5]

The eight qualified teams are split into two groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals.[6] Group A consists of Ghana, Malawi, Nigeria and Uganda; while host nation Kenya are placed in group B along with Botswana, Cameroon and Mozambique.[6] All of the matches will have full T20I status as the ICC granted T20I status to matches between all of its members from 1 January 2019.[7] Cameroon could be playing their first matches with T20I status during this tournament, depending on when the event is rescheduled.
