At the 2010 census there were 2,281 people, A 16% increase over the 2000 Census 912 households, and 528 families living in the CDP. The population density was 65.2 people per square mile (25.2/km²). There were 1,311 housing units at an average density of 45.8 per square mile (17.7/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 93.63% White, 0.64% Black or African American, 0.86% Native American, 1.02% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 2.09% from other races, and 1.71% from two or more races. 6.11% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.[5] Of the 912 households 13.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.2% were married couples living together, 4.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 42.1% were non-families. 36.1% of households were one person and 21.5% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.05 and the average family size was 2.61.

The age distribution was 15.0% under the age of 18, 3.2% from 18 to 24, 15.8% from 25 to 44, 31.3% from 45 to 64, and 34.7% 65 or older. The median age was 57 years. For every 100 females, there were 105.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104.5 males.

The median household income was $17,305 and the median family income was $23,750. Males had a median income of $27,500 versus $18,365 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $12,430. About 17.6% of families and 24.5% of the population were below the poverty line, including 27.4% of those under age 18 and 16.2% of those age 65 or over.
