Dibis District

Dibis District (Arabic: قضاء الدبس, romanized: qaḍāʾ al-Dubs; Kurdish: پردێ ,Pirdê[2][3]) is a district in northwestern Kirkuk Governorate, northern Iraq. Its administrative center is the town of Dibis. The largest settlement is Altun Kupri. Sargaran subdistrict has a substantial Kurdish majority with a small Arab minority, while Altun Kupri subdistrict is split more equally between Kurds, Arabs, and Turkmen. Markaz Dibis subdistrict, has a Kurdish majority with Arab, Turkmen, and Christian minorities.[1]
