Before Eurovision
Pesen Na Evrovizija 2007
Bulgaria held national selection called Pesen Na Evrovizija 2007, which included a semi-final and final. 18 songs took part in the semi-final on 3 February 2007, where a jury picked 9 to go to the final, with 3 "wildcards" being added in by BNT. The winner from those 12 was decided on 24 February 2007 by televoting only.

Final
The final was held on 24 February 2007 at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, hosted by Dragomir Simeonov and Iva Doichinova. The qualifiers from the semi-final were joined by 3 wildcard acts for the final. The winner was chosen by televoting, being "Voda" performed by Stoyan Yankoulov & Elitsa Todorova.[1] The win for the duo was very convincing as they won by over 26,000 more votes than the song in second place, "Fool for You" performed by KariZma.

At Eurovision
As Bulgaria failed to qualify from the semi-final for the second time in a row, Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan Yankoulov had to compete in the semi-final on 10 May. The Bulgarian entry was performed first, preceding Israel. Bulgaria finished 6th in the semi-final, and therefore qualified for the final on 12 May, where they performed 21st following Romania and preceding Turkey. The entry finished in 5th place with 157 points. With changes to the format of the competition coming into effect for 2008, Bulgaria would have to compete in one of two semi-finals for qualification into the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. As Bulgaria was not the winner of the 2007 Contest and was not a member of the Big Four, other results in the previous contest no longer pre-qualified nations to the final of the forthcoming contest.
