In July 2019, the car received its first facelift for the 2020 model year. It now featured an updated grille, updated rear end, and a CVT transmission option with three driving modes.[6][7]

In late 2019, the Baojun 510 is replaced by the Baojun RS-3 while it continued to be on sale alongside it as a low-cost option.[8]
