Australia national soccer team results (1922–59)
The Australia national soccer team represents Australia in international association football and during this period was controlled by the Australian Soccer Football Association.

During the period between 1922 and 1959 played in 51 international matches, resulting in 26 wins, 5 draws and 20 losses. They played their first international match against New Zealand.[1] They also played games against Canada, India, Southern Rhodesia and South Africa. In 1956, Australia would compete in their first international competition when they hosted the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne where they defeated Japan in the first round before being defeated by India in the quarter-finals.
