The arrondissement of Colmar-Ribeauvillé is an arrondissement of France in the Haut-Rhin department in the Grand Est region. It has 98 communes.[1] Its population is 211,312 (2017),[2] and its area is 1,247.9 km2 (481.8 sq mi).[3]

History

The arrondissement of Colmar-Ribeauvillé was created in January 2015 by the merger of the former arrondissements of Colmar and Ribeauvillé.[4] In January 2017 seven communes from the arrondissement of Thann-Guebwiller joined the arrondissement of Colmar-Ribeauvillé.[5]
