She has won one doubles title on the WTA Tour, one singles title on the WTA 125K series as well as 12 singles and three doubles titles on the ITF circuit in her career. She played also in one final at the WTA Tour and in the 4th round of one Grand Slam.

In August 2016, Friedsam reached her best singles ranking of world No. 45. In doubles, she peaked at world No. 42 in January 2020.

Friedsam won her first $25,000 ITF tournament at the Infond Open in 2012.[1]
