Allahabad (Lok Sabha constituency)

Prayagraj , formerly Allahbad, (Hindi: प्रयागराज (अलाहाबाद) लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र) is a Lok Sabha parliamentary constituency in Uttar Pradesh. The constituency is now known as Prayagraj, after the city adopted it as official name in 2017. Prayagraj is a prestigious constituency and two Indian Prime Ministers Lal Bahadur Shastri and V P Singh have been elected from this constituency.[2][3][4]
