2017–18 Aston Villa F.C. season

The 2017–18 season was Aston Villa's second consecutive season in the Championship following their relegation from the Premier League during the 2015–16 season. It was also their 143rd year in existence.[1]

John Terry joined the club and was appointed captain.[2]

Aston Villa finished fourth in the Championship and got to the play-off final, where they lost 0–1 to Fulham, ensuring they would again compete in the Championship in 2018–19.[3]

FA Cup

EFL Cup
