Club career

Gnahoua was born in London and is of French and Ivorian descent.[3] He began his senior career in non-league football, joining Macclesfield Town from Stalybridge Celtic in 2012.[4] He then moved on to Kidderminster Harriers in January 2016,[5] and was their top goal scorer in the 2016–17 season as they reached the National League North play-off semi-finals.[3]

He joined League One side Shrewsbury Town on a free transfer in May 2017, signing a one-year deal with an option for a further year,[3] making his Football League debut on 5 August 2017 as a substitute in a 1−0 victory over Northampton Town.[6] Gnahoua scored his first professional goal in a 3−2 victory over Coventry City in an EFL Trophy group-stage match on 29 August,[7] followed by his first Football League goal - netting a 94th-minute winner in a 2−1 away win at Doncaster Rovers - on 26 September.[8]

His contract with Shrewsbury was extended at the end of the 2017–18 season.[9]

He was released by Carlisle at the end of the 2018–19 season.[10]

Gnahoua re-joined Macclesfield Town in August 2019 on a one-year contract.[11]
