1961 Vuelta a España

The 16th Vuelta a España (Tour of Spain), a long-distance bicycle stage race and one of the three grand tours, was held from 26 April to 11 May 1961. It consisted of 16 stages covering a total of 2,856.5 km (1,774.9 mi), and was won by Angelino Soler of the Faema cycling team.[1] Antonio Suárez won the points classification and Antonio Karmany won the mountains classification.
