1937 Pittsburgh Panthers football team

The 1937 Pittsburgh Panthers football team represented the University of Pittsburgh in the 1937 college football season. The Panthers were crowned national champions by the final AP Poll which was released in late November and by almost all NCAA-designated major selectors.[1] Pitt was also awarded the Lambert-Meadowlands Trophy as the champion of the East. An invitation to the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day was declined.
