Career

Before founding Euro Garages, Zuber Issa and his brother, Mohsin, took out a lease on a garage, and saved up the money to buy their first petrol station.[3]

Issa co founded Euro Garages with his brother, Mohsin, in 2001, with the acquisition of a single petrol station in Bury, Greater Manchester. The original site cost £150,000.

Issa is responsible for strategy and acquisitions while his brother, Mohsin, runs the business day to day.[3] The company grew through a series of acquisitions.[4]

As of 2017, Euro Garages is Europe's largest independent petrol station operators, and had sales of £5 billion.[5]

In February 2018, it was announced that Euro Garages would acquired 762 convenience stores in the United States from Kroger.[6]

Personal life

In 2017, the Issa brothers bought a £25 million mansion in Knightsbridge, London, previously owned by Achilleas Kallakis.[5] The brothers applied for planning permission to create a three story basement.[5]
