Yasuhiro Higuchi (樋口 靖洋, Higuchi Yasuhiro, born May 5, 1961) is a former Japanese football player and manager.

Playing career

Higuchi was born in Mie Prefecture on May 5, 1961. After graduating from high school, he played for Nissan Motors from 1980 to 1984.

Coaching career

After retirement, in 1985, Higuchi started coaching career at Nissan Motors (later Yokohama F. Marinos) and coached until 2005. From 2006, he managed Montedio Yamagata (2006-2007), Omiya Ardija (2008) and Yokohama FC (2009). In 2010, he returned to Yokohama F. Marinos as coach. In 2012, he became a manager and managed until 2014. In 2013, the club won 2nd place at J1 League and champions at Emperor's Cup. In 2015, he signed with Ventforet Kofu and managed until May. From 2016, he managed YSCC Yokohama.
