Yasu (野洲市, Yasu-shi) is a city located in Shiga Prefecture, Japan.

The modern city of Yasu was established on October 1, 2004, from the merger of the former town of Yasu, absorbing the town of Chūzu (both from Yasu District). Therefore, Yasu District was dissolved as a result of this merger.

As of October 1, 2016, the city has an estimated population of 50,233 and a population density of 630 persons per km². The total area is 80.15 km².

Mt Mikami, a symbol of the city. Also called "Omi Fuji" from its form.
