ξ Gruis, Latinised as Xi Gruis, is a solitary,[7] orange-hued star in the southern constellation of Grus. With an apparent magnitude of 5.3[2] and a stellar classification of K0 III,[3] it is an evolved giant star located around 470 light-years distant from Earth.
