Wuzhou Xijiang Airport (Chinese: 梧州西江机场)(IATA: WUZ) is an airport serving the city of Wuzhou in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. It is located at the east of Tangbu, Teng County, on the south of the Xijiang river.
The airport received approval from the State Council of China on 29 June 2014.[1] It has opened in September 2018, and the operations have been moved into it from the older Wuzhou Changzhoudao Airport. The projected total investment was 1.479 billion yuan.[1]
Facilities
The airport has a 2,600-meter runway (class 4C) and a 8,000-square-meter terminal building. It is projected to handle 750,000 passengers and 6,000 tons of cargo annually by 2025.[1]
