Wronki Wielkie [ˈvrɔnki ˈvjɛlkʲɛ] (German: Winterberg)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gołdap, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[2] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) south of Gołdap and 128 km (80 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the village was part of Germany (East Prussia) and known as Winterberg.
